At Scout we love beautiful hair, our worlds are entwined with it.

We work by listening to our clients, who they are and how they wear their hair. We believe all clients deserve beautiful dos that work for them whether a shape, trim, colour or complete hair transformation.

Our stylist at Raumati South all work for themselves in our supportive, co-working salon.

SUSTAINABLE

Did you know that here at Scout not only do we love and care about your hair, we feel the same way about our environment?

We are over 95% plastic free, offering refills on shampoo and conditioners so you also can limit your impact. We use ethically conscious products. We love to support local, fairtrade and organic.

HAVEN

Drop in to Scout to drop out for a while and emerge anew.

Here at Scout we offer a relaxing and friendly salon experience. Good tunes, great chats, interesting magazines and fabulous massaging chairs.

SUSTAINABLE SALONS

Scout is proud to be part of the Sustainable Salons, who are working hard to make salon waste history. Utilising a network of collectors, recyclers, manufacturers and distributors to make sure up to 95% of materials from salons are diverted from landfill. Check out the great work they do at www.sustainablesalons.org

Nestled in the best wee corner of Kapiti, Scout is a small salon with a big heart. Annabel's vision is for you to have a relaxing and friendly salon experience – a down-to-earth place to have your shape, trim, colour or complete hair transformation.

At Scout you'll always get attentive service & great hair. Our devotion to sustainability is a big part of who we are – from recycling our tin foil, composting the gathered hair, to the use of ethically conscious product ranges. We love to love this earth.

Diana Beaufort

In the hair industry for over 30 years, at the award-winning salon Reds Hairdressing and now freelancing. Diana is now ‘NZ Industry Trainer of the Year’ realising her passion for training and leadership coaching.

Please note: Bookings cannot be cancelled online within 24 hours of the booking. Please email us directly to cancel if necessary.
We also operate a cancellation policy where we charge 50% of the service total if your appointment is cancelled within the 24 hours prior to your booking. This ensures our stylists livelihood is not hugely effected by last minute cancellations – thanks so much for your understanding on this.
